Twin City Staffing is seeking a strategic procurement specialist to join a premier manufacturing team in St. Paul. You will act as the primary link between production needs and supplier capabilities, ensuring high-quality materials are secured at the best value. Location: Saint Paul, MN Wage:$31 - $39 hourly wage (based on experience) Hours: Monday - Thursday: 6:00 am - 3:30 pm Friday: 6:00 am - 12:00 pm Benefits of the procurement specialist: Competitive hourly pay with long-term stability Consistent 1st shift schedule with early Fridays Supportive, team-oriented manufacturing environment Opportunity to grow your skills and advance your career Full benefits package available upon hire, including: Medical insurance Dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan Additional coverage options Duties of the procurement specialist: Manage the Purchase Order cycle from initiation to verification Negotiate pricing and contracts for maximum cost efficiency Expedite delayed orders and resolve return/credit issues Source and qualify new suppliers for metals and hardware Evaluate vendors using quality and delivery scorecards Align material orders with Just-In-Time initiatives Monitor inventory to prevent overstocking or shortages Conduct on-site supplier visits to assess capabilities Requirements of the procurement specialist: 3+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing Experience buying raw metals and hardware components Proficiency with ERP systems (JobBOSS) and Microsoft Excel Strong negotiation and contract management skills Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally Valid Driver's License for local supplier visits APICS certification or a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Additional Information: Apply today!
