This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. You will work closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support daily living skills, and promote positive behavioral growth. If you are energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential, this is the perfect role for you!Please send CURRENT resume to Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support children's developmental goals Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and toileting, to foster independence Collect and analyze data on behavior patterns to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support classroom teachers and special education staff in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with families, therapists, and medical professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies Use positive reinforcement techniques to promote appropriate behaviors and manage behavioral challenges effectively Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age General Comments FILL-INS!!!! Must be comfortable getting assignment same-day and going to any school site K-12 Upland USD 2025-2026 SY Start Date: TBD 1:1 and Classroom BT assignments Part-time/PRN hours Transportation required at some assignments Diapering/toileting MANDATORY Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and implementing behavior management strategies Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Ability to collect detailed data accurately and utilize it to guide intervention strategies Excellent teaching skills combined with patience and empathy for working with individuals with special needs Familiarity with behavioral health concepts, care planning, and behavior management tools Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to transforming lives through innovative behavioral support.
