Job Title: Welder Job DescriptionThe candidate will be responsible for material handling and cutting orders to size for customers using various saws, machines, and presses. Proficiency in reading a tape measure and other measuring devices to an 8th, 16th, or 32nd of an inch is required.Responsibilities Handle materials and cut them to customer-specified sizes using various saws, machines, and presses. Read and interpret measurements accurately to an 8th, 16th, or 32nd of an inch. Essential Skills 6+ months of experience with machine operating, including drill press, punch press, and brake press. Ability to read a tape measure with precision. Capacity to stand on feet for the entire shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production, general labor, assembly, general production, packaging, packing, cleanroom, machine operation, inspection, hand tools, and load handling. Strong communication skills and the ability to ask questions. The candidate will work in a close-knit team of 3-4 people in the cut operations department. Steel-toed boots and jeans are required attire every day.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zumbrota, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
