You won't just be pushing buttons; you will be the technical anchor for our department, setting up our newest machines and training our team on how to use them. We offer 2 weeks of vacation, personal days, and we cover half of your health insurance premiums. What You'll Be Doing: Leading the Charge: Setup and operate Hydromat rotary transfer machines. Mentoring: Use your expertise to train others as we install and launch our newest equipment. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot setups and ensure our quality remains top-tier. What We're Looking For: Experience with Hydromat or similar rotary transfer machines. A natural ability to teach and mentor others. A precision-focused mindset and the ability to read blueprints and use micrometers/calipers. Flexibility to start on 1st shift and move to 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 11 PM) once our new machine is live. Apply today and lead our machinst team! salary: $56,160 - $62,400 per year shift: Second work hours: 3:30 PM - 11 PM education: High School Responsibilities Setup & Operation: Perform complex setups and operate Hydromat rotary transfer machines to produce precision components. Technical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert for the Hydromat department; troubleshoot mechanical and programming issues as they arise. Training & Mentorship: Lead the training program for new and existing employees on the incoming machinery, ensuring best practices for safety and efficiency. Tooling & Maintenance: Manage tool changes, offsets, and basic preventative maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime. Quality Control: Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure all parts meet strict tolerances. Process Improvement: Collaborate with management to optimize cycle times and setup procedures for new equipment.
