Job Description

The Mirror Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging mirror components according to company standards and production requirements. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow work instructions to ensure high-quality finished products. Mirror Assembly Overview: Hours: 6am - 4pm Pay: $17/hr Key Responsibilities Assemble mirror components (glass, housing, frames, brackets, backing plates) using hand tools, fixtures, or automated equipment Install adhesives, fasteners, clips, or electronic components as required Perform visual and functional inspections to ensure mirrors meet quality standards Identify and report defects, damage, or assembly issues Follow work instructions, blueprints, or assembly diagrams Maintain a clean and organized workstation Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures Package finished mirror assemblies for storage or shipment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous assembly or manufacturing experience a plus (but not always required) Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math skills for measurements and counts Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Frequent use of hands and fingers for assembly tasks Ability to lift up to 25-40 lbs (depending on product size) Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) for detailed inspection Work Environment Manufacturing or production floor May involve repetitive motions Exposure to glass, adhesives, and mechanical components Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Peoplelink, LLC, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of 'linking' communities through employment.
