Maintenance Technician Days Worked: Monday - Thursday Hours Worked: 8:00 PM - 6:15 AM Pay: $25.00 - $36.00/hour (based on experience) + $1.00/hr. third shift differential Maintenance Technician Requirements Experience in a foundry environment preferred; otherwise, heavy industrial experience required Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic, and piping diagrams Metal fabrication skills including MIG, TIG, arc gouging/cutting PLC troubleshooting and programming knowledge Facilities maintenance experience (HVAC, welding, carpentry, mechanical systems) Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Skilled calipers, indicators, micrometers, multimeters Ability to operate shop equipment: drill press, lathe, mills, surface grinder, welding equipment, crane, forklift About the 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician Role As a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include: Perform reactive and planned maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic foundry equipment Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and systems according to schematics, manufacturer specifications, and management guidelines Dismantle machinery to remove defective parts, inspect and repair components, and reassemble for proper function Perform metal fabrication tasks including welding, cutting, and machining to support equipment repair Lay out wire, build, and troubleshoot electrical panels and machinery per NFPA/NEC standards Perform facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general building upkeep Assist machine operators and production personnel for optimal production performance Set up and operate machining equipment: lathe, drill press, grinders, welding equipment, and other metalworking tools Order supplies, repair parts, and maintain inventory as needed Utilize CMMS for work order tracking and maintenance documentation Why Work With Crown Get paid weekly!
