This includes the responsibility to recommend appropriate intervention and elevation/escalation of issues for management attention, as necessary and responsibility to drive consistency in application of standards across all fleet stations in the WM functional area.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities Providing governance and oversight, in accordance with the Management Model, to drive the station’s work management processes with the goal of best-in-class performance in online and outage execution. Influence and align station Work Control/Work Management leadership, Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering on expectations, priorities, and best practices.Utilize the Performance Assessment engagement tools as required. Employing lean techniques in continuous improvement processes to ensure each area of responsibility is constantly improving the associated processes and adding to the value of the people, processes and equipment. Actively participate in industry benchmarking / peer groups to ensure Vistra remains a top decile performer through implementation of best practices. Critically monitoring, assessing, and evaluating the performance of Functional Areas throughout the fleet to provide assurance that standards are met. Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements High School diploma/GED equivalent required. Bachelor of Science degree preferred. Prior SRO license or certification recommended. Minimum of 10 years experience in a combination of nuclear power plant maintenance, engineering, operations or work management required. Knowledge of industry outage and online planning, preparation, scheduling and execution standards required. The WM CFAM position is intended to be a key fleet leadership position and not developmental.Candidates shall be fluent in nuclear industry excellence standards within the functional area, adept at leading change management, driving excellence plans and will demonstrate relevant experiences that satisfy this requirement. Fluency in the concepts of operational risk management required. The successful individual must have a demonstrated ability in ensuring discipline to outage milestones and outage execution. The individual must have experience in industry-leading approaches to minimizing work week executional risk and optimizing preventive maintenance. Key Metrics Effective development, implementation, and monitoring of fleet governance consistent with top decile performance uniformly over all nuclear stations within Vistra. Outage preparation and execution that within target goals for Safety (Nuclear and Personnel), Schedule, and Cost. Online schedules that meet industry top decile performance in Operational Risk, Seasonal Readiness, and Safety System reliability/unavailability.
