Sr. HR Business Partner

Iteris is seeking an Sr. HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to business units, providing expertise in various HR functions to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving the success of our organization by aligning human resources strategies with business objectives.What you will be doing: Provide strategic human resources consultation and support to designated business units to define and execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives Contribute to the development of workforce plans by assessing and aligning to evolving business needs and priorities Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to line managers Provide coaching and development tools to members of leadership Acts as liaison with other HR functions Proactively provide change management support and recommendations Collaborate with leadership on succession planning initiatives to identify and develop key talent within the organization Lead company wide initiatives with support from fellow HRBP Manage heavy employee relations cases to mitigate risk and litigation What you need to be successful in this role: Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as an HR Business Partner, Manager or similar strategic HR role Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align HR strategies with both short- and long-term organizational goals Ability to build relationships with senior leadership and act as a trusted advisor In-depth knowledge of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and compliance Proficiency in developing and assessing HR metrics and analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and informed decision-making Thorough understanding of HR regulatory environment and compliance requirements Strong proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel Strong demonstrated ability to consistently perform work independently, accurately, and thoroughly Iteris anticipates paying a base salary between $147,400 and $164,200 for this role.
