Electrical Service Assistant ManagerLocation: Naples, FLJob Type: Full TimePay: Competitive, DOEPosition OverviewThe Electrical Service Assistant Manager plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the electrical service division. This position works closely with the Service Manager to coordinate field technicians, oversee service activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. Acting as a central point between customers, technicians, and internal departments, this role helps drive strong customer satisfaction, streamlined scheduling, and profitable service performance.Primary ResponsibilitiesScheduling & Field Support Support the planning and assignment of service technicians to job sites. Track daily schedules, work orders, and technician availability to maintain workflow. Assist in managing urgent service requests, priority clients, and warranty-related work. Customer Relations & Project Coordination Communicate with customers regarding service requests, timelines, and job updates. Help collect job specifications, site details, and customer expectations prior to service. Support follow-up activities related to estimates, proposals, and customer approvals. Operational Assistance Review completed work orders for accuracy prior to closing and billing. Coordinate with inventory and purchasing teams to secure required materials and equipment. Help monitor labor, materials, and job expenses to support cost control and profitability. Safety, Quality & Compliance Promote and reinforce company safety standards and best practices. Assist in maintaining records related to training, certifications, and licensing. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency. Administrative & Team Support Maintain accurate service records, contracts, and customer files. Assist with onboarding and training of new technicians on company systems and procedures. Provide coverage and support during the Service Manager's absence. Perform additional duties as assigned to support department goals. Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or GED required; technical school or associate degree preferred. Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in electrical services, construction, maintenance, or related fields. Previous experience in dispatching, crew leadership, or coordination is advantageous. Working knowledge of electrical service practices, terminology, and workflows. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and office software. High attention to detail in documentation, scheduling, and reporting. Strong commitment to workplace safety and company policies. Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
