Golden Harvest Agronomist

To support that challenge, the Syngenta Seeds team is currently seeking a Golden Harvest Agronomist located in Ohio and Indiana.Location: Ohio and IndianaDuties: Evaluate experimental trials to aid in training the sales force on new product launchesProvide marketing input into product advancementsProvide input on production planning and portfolioSharpen competitive intelligence on pricing and productsSupport product-based campaign development in the districtPromote Syngenta products at meetings, field days, and one-on-onesSupport and coordinate plot locations and entries in the assigned areaAnalyze and interpret data for promotional use and act as the pivot point for Syngenta's story amplification in local areas Qualifications: Qualifications B.S. in Agronomy or related Agricultural field2+ years of experience in Agronomy or Sales with a strong technical background or 2+ years of experience in a Research and Development role, with a strong understanding of Sales and Commercial aspectsDeep knowledge of the seed industryVisa sponsorship is not available for this position Preferred Requirements Basic understanding of marketing principles and techniquesUnderstanding of statistical principles and data analysisSignificant technical knowledge of product portfolio, product pipeline and product value propositions.Agronomic theory – knowledge of farming best practices, seed technologies, crop protectionUnderstanding of segmentation strategy and prioritiesDemonstrated experience in guidance and direct involvement in service call resolution Additional InformationWhat We Offer: A culture that celebrates belonging and collaboration, promotes professional development and strives for a work-life balance that supports the team members.
