We strive to continuously learn, explore, experiment, and achieve results. This position will be required to work out of our New Castle, DE warehouse facility; this is not a remote role. Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager to lead our expanding warehouse operations in New Castle, DE. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with strong people management skills and extensive experience in all facets of warehouse operations, including production, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role requires a highly organized individual with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams and implementing efficient processes to drive operational success. The Ideal Teammate Would Be Able To: Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage all warehouse functions, including production, shipping, receiving, and inventory management, to ensure seamless and efficient operations. Team Development: Build, train, and lead a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Delegate tasks and provide feedback. Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine processes to enhance productivity, accuracy, and safety while meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, implement inventory control measures, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Equipment Oversight: Manage and maintain warehouse machinery and heavy equipment, including box erectors, hoppers, conveyors, loaders, excavators, and forklifts, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. Results-Driven Execution: Drive operational excellence by setting clear goals, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to achieve or exceed targets. Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, promoting a safe and compliant work environment. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and upper management, to align warehouse operations with organizational goals. Would you describe yourself as someone who has: Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of warehouse management experience, with a strong background in production, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Proven experience in developing teams and implementing efficient processes in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Technical Knowledge: General technical understanding of warehouse machinery and heavy equipment, including box erectors, hoppers, conveyors, loaders, excavators, and forklifts. Leadership Skills: Exceptional people management and leadership abilities, with a track record of building cohesive, high-performing teams. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with staff, vendors, and other departments. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to address issues related to inventory, logistics and personal matters. Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet KPIs, and implement strategies to achieve operational goals. Location: Familiarity with Warehouse Managements Systems and other relevant software for tracking inventory, managing orders, production processing, and generating reports. Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered). Certifications (preferred but not required): Forklift certification or other relevant equipment certifications. OSHA certifications or Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and other relevant regulations for maintaining a safe and compliant warehouse environment Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications. Work Environment This role is based in New Castle, DE, at our expanding warehouse facility. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional extended hours to meet operational demands. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, as well as oversee equipment operations.
