In this vital role, you'll ensure the safety of patrons while assisting the Pool Manager with facility operations. As a key leader, you'll oversee aquatic activities, enforce pool rules, and maintain water quality-all while providing top-notch customer service. Essential Job FunctionsProvides service to the general public by scanning the water to monitor activities and ensure safety; provide first aid, informing customers of upcoming events and answering inquiries. Ensures the safety of the general public by enforcing pool rules and regulations, checking pool chemicals, monitoring for safety issues and report any unresolvable issues to the Aquatic's Supervisor, monitoring activities and providing assistance to other staff and the general public when necessary. Prepares facilities for special events by setting up tables and chairs and decorating. Follow all opening and closing procedures and ensure staff have completed all tasks. Overseas operations in the absence of a Pool Manager. Minimum QualificationsEducation: High School or GED preferred but not required. Experience: Some lifeguard experience required. Certifications: Requires American Red Cross -Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid certification. Will provide training upon hire. For city employees who are regular part time (10-19 hours per week) or seasonal hired placed on City payroll, the following benefits are provided: - Public Agency Retirement System: the employee contributes 6.2% each paycheck to this retirement system and the city provides 1.3%. The employee does not pay into Social Security. All of the employees contributions may be withdrawn upon separating service from the city. The City's contributions will not be paid unless the employee retires under the system. Part time or seasonal employees are not eligible for any paid leave or other benefits. Part time or seasonal employees are limited to working only 1,000 hours per 12-month period, unless the seasonal is project based for a specific period of time which is typically less than 12-months. 01 What is the highest level of Education obtained?
