Light Rail Supervisor Consultant

Job Summary: The Light Rail Supervisor Consultant oversees facility operations, maintenance, and physical security systems. This role ensures effective infrastructure and security systems operation, supervises technicians and contractors, and supports safe, secure, and compliant facility operations. Location:Newark, New Jersey, United States Responsibilities: - Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and facility infrastructure systems. - Conduct inspections and coordinate maintenance and repair activities. - Supervise a team of technicians and provide operational guidance. - Manage physical security systems including alarm, card access, and key control systems. - Oversee system administration, database maintenance, and security controls. - Supervise installation and operation of alarm and monitoring systems. - Investigate false alarms and implement corrective actions. - Review facility plans and provide security recommendations. - Manage contracted security services and perform compliance checks. - Support budgeting, planning, and project coordination activities. Required Skills & Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum 3 years of experience with physical security systems, alarm systems, access control, and key control. - 3+ Years Microsoft Excel and Word experience. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Organizational and time-management skills. - Basic budgeting and budget planning knowledge. - Facility maintenance technical expertise. - Project management skills. - Ability to pass a background check.
