Sr. Financial Analyst

One of our leading clients in the manufacturing industry in the Denver area is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in their Boulder office location. You will be responsible for reporting, collecting and interpreting key financial information for the Finance Department. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $110,000 per year. Responsibilities : Prepare monthly reports and variance analyses for senior management Perform Planful administrative tasks including maintaining data structures, data, budget templates and reports, managing security, documenting processes, and training end users Assist in annual budget process including providing support to department managers Investigate variances between actuals and budget/forecast to identify potential risks/opportunities and influence business decisions Analyze budgets and forecasts and create related reports and analyses for senior management Engage closely with the various business areas to understand business structure and objectives to provide financial guidance and support effectively Assist in the analysis of financial data and extract and define relevant information. Requirements: Advanced MS Excel skills. Proficiency with preparing and modeling financial ratios and analytics. Strong understanding of complete financial statement package. Financial and reporting software familiarity. Previous experience with Planful or similar reporting software a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team player, with a positive, can do attitude who works well with employees at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Oriented towards process improvement. Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field is required. 5+ years of finance or accounting experience Strong budgeting and Planful software experience required Experience supporting/participating in an annual budget process is required.
