Special Events Staff - Salem Family Y

Description Looking for enthusiastic and organized Party and Event Host/Hostess Staff who are committed to ensuring an enjoyable party experience for participants at the YMCA. Must be able to multi-task and adapt to unexpected changes in a cheerful manner. Must have weekend availability. Set up party space including tables and chairs as requested by renter. Greet the birthday party family & guests and escort them to the party area. Review the party reservation with the party parents and help set up any decorations, food or drink if requested. Posts signs and arrows for party. Collect trash and dispose of appropriately, clean up table(s), chairs and floor at the conclusion of the party. Professional attitude: ability to maintain a professional, respectful, positive attitude towards a diverse group of employees, members and participants. Maintain proper appearance and behavior Assist in breaking down party space including loading cars, breaking down tables and chairs etc. Qualifications Adult/Child/Infant CPR, Adult AED and First Aid certification (Training can be provided).
