About the Role This is an experienced engineering position that will function as the lead design engineer for utility-scale PV Solar projects and lead the development of electrical design packages for utility-scale BESS projects (20MW and larger). Requirements: Professional Engineering (PE) license Minimum 6 years of utility-scale PV Solar and BESS experience Intermediate-to-Expert-level knowledge/experience with Medium- and Low-voltage switchgear, panel boards, breakers, relays, inverters, UPS systems, battery systems, DC combiner boxes, batter chargers, disconnect switches, and Medium- and Low-voltage cable Intermediate-to-Expert-level knowledge/experience with Cable sizing, ampacity studies, arc flash analyses, short circuit analyses, reactive capability analyses, and voltage drop calculations Comfortable in either SKM or ETAP Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering Must be a self-starter, team player, and excellent communicator Compensation and Benefits: Expected starting base salary: $105,000-$155,000 / year PTO, Holiday Pay, Group Medical and Dental Insurance, Company-Paid Life and Disability Insurance, 401K with match, Tuition Reimbursement, Long-term Care Insurance, Annual Performance Bonuses, and more!
