Sr. Engineer TECHM-JOB-29246 Customer: Textron Job Title: Integrated Supply Chain - Quality Inspector Candidate pay rate: Max of $54,600/year FULL TIME Duration upto - 1 year Location - Onsite only at Textron Aviation, Saginaw, Michigan Total positions - 2 1 position - First Shift (Monday - Thursday). 06:00 AM - 04:30 PM with a 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM lunch 1 position - Second Shift (Monday - Thursday) 4:30 pm - 3:00 am with a 9:30 - 10:00 pm Lunch Citizenship requirement: citizen and GC Job Description: Responsible for inspecting machined parts during production to ensure they meet drawing and customer requirements using inspection tools and gauges. They are responsible for approving or rejecting materials with respect to quality standards and recording performance. They select output samples and check them using appropriate inspection methods. Finally, they prepare and submit inspection/rejection reports to the quality manager. • Performs First Piece, In Process, and Final Inspection of machined components during the manufacturing process. • Read blueprints and job orders for production specifications. • Reviews job/work instruction for completeness. • Dimensionally inspects parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, CMM's, bore gages, profilometers, etc. • Performs visual inspection of parts for defects, damage, burrs, and FOD. • May perform finishing operations to correct rejected parts or assist with other production activities. • Generates inspection and rejection reports. Candidates should have "Yes" as an answer for following questions. Pre-Screening Knockout Questions (Y or N): 1. Have you ever used a bore gage? 2. Do you know what a datum feature is on a part? 3. Do you know the difference between a Section view and a Detail view on a blueprint? 4. Are you familiar with the term "True Position" - could you recognize the symbol for it on a blueprint?
