Average hours perweek are 24 - 30 Hours of work will be any variety of shifts between : 7:30 AM to 1:30 AM. Must be willing to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays. JOB PURPOSE:To offer a level of safety and service that exceeds guest expectations andestablishes or maintains a positive and productive relationship both within theorganization and with guests. JOB SUMMARY:Under the general supervision of Aquatics Management, Waterpark MOD, ensuresthe safety of all patrons of the Bavarian Inn Lodge Aquatics areas in, on, oraround the properties' bodies of water. Lifeguard to the American Red CrossStandards, while practicing preventative lifeguarding. Provide care at thelevel of training certification by preventing and responding to any and allemergencies. Enforce and maintain safeoperational guidelines set forth by attractions operator's manuals. Provideexceptional customer service in all assigned roles. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be a minimumof 16 years of age. • Must be able topass a 100 yard swimming test, timed brick test, and treading test inaccordance with American Red Cross Shallow Water Lifeguarding program • Knowledge ofLifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, AED, & Emergency Oxygen Administration orwill be trained/certified on-site. • Ability to reactquickly, effectively and calmly in emergencies. • Ability to passpre-employment physical skills evaluation as stipulated by the department. • Ability toprepare routine administrative paperwork. • Ability to followroutine verbal and written instructions. • Ability to worklong hours on your feet. • Ability to liftmoderate weights. • Ability to workfluctuating shifts. • Ability to standhigh heat and humidity. • Ability to workin high noise level areas. • Pleasingpersonality. • Well groomed.
