Duties and Responsibilities: Work closely with engineers and other design team members to align lighting designs with overall vehicle specifications. Utilize CAD software to produce 2D detailed design drawings and ensure feasibility for production. Support the product engineering team pertaining to the drawing and bill of materials work related to the engineering change notice process. Lead cross functional teams related to internal projects and process improvement. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in heavy duty lighting to incorporate cutting-edge solutions. Responsible for entering information into the IMDS (International Material Data System). Responsible for providing back up support for the Bill of Materials Analyst. Position requires compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal Export Control Policy established for the Corporation. REQUIREMENTSKnowledge of Electrical Systems: Understanding how lighting integrates with the truck's electrical systems is essential. Problem-Solving : Ability to address design challenges, such as optimizing lighting for visibility and energy efficiency. Communication: Effectively presenting design concepts to stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in design specifications and compliance with safety standards. Aesthetic Sensibility: Balancing functionality with appealing design to enhance the truck's overall look. Skills: Proficience in CAD software, knowledge of lighting technologies, and an understanding of safety standard. Experience: 2 to 3 years of work related experience.
