QA Tester (Manual / Functional Testing)Location: Onsite - Phoenix, AZ / Raleigh, NC / Dallas, TX Experience: 6-8 Years Job Summary We are seeking a QA Tester with strong expertise in Functional and Manual Testing within the Banking/Financial domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing both third-party applications and internally developed systems, with exposure to automation testing. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Perform manual and functional testing for internal applications and third-party systems. Create and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports. Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and QA peers to ensure requirements are met. Track and manage defects using JIRA and support workflows with ServiceNow. Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and processes. Provide status updates, test metrics, and contribute to test reporting. Support limited automation testing efforts, as needed. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 6-8 years of experience in Manual/Functional Testing (Banking/Finance domain preferred). Experience in Mortgage Origination & Servicing is a plus. Strong commitment to quality and detail-oriented testing practices. Solid knowledge of JIRA for test management and defect tracking. Familiarity with ServiceNow. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Some exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, or similar). Prior experience in Banking / Financial services projects. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
