Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Status: Full Time Regular Shift: VARIED SHIFT Department: Mental Hlth Clnc-Baldwin Position Summary Summary:The Staff Psychologist is responsible for delivering high quality, effective behavioral health services to patients using evidence-based, person-centered practice interventions. The Staff Psychologist must also demonstrate excellent organizational skills including accurate and timely documentation, excellent customer service skills, and critical thinking skills. Qualifications Responsibilities:Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • Doctoral degree in clinical or community psychology Experience And Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Speaks, reads and writes English • Experience or internship working in behavioral health or related area • Member of Mount Sinai South Nassau Medical Staff License/Certifications • New York State Office of the Professions Licensed Psychologist • Mandated OMH Documentation: Code of Conduct; Mandated Reporter Attestation Working Conditions Other information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • Ability to travel to other locations for off-site interventions • Risks involved with working with mentally ill individuals
