HVAC Install Lead Technician

Key Responsibilities and Duties Lead and manage HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all industry standards and regulations. Supervise and mentor a team of HVAC installers, providing training and guidance to enhance their technical skills and performance. Work closely with the installation manager, warehouse manager, and installation apprentices to complete jobs on time and under budget. Interpret and implement installation plans and specifications, ensuring accuracy in all installations. Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues that may arise on-site. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies. Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns. Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business. Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training. Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback and option sheets. Competencies for Success Technical License: Class 1 Technician or Class 2 Residential Technician EPA Section 608 certification with knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes.  Minimum of five (5) years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least one (1) year of experience in a lead or supervisory role. Develop a proven track record in heating and cooling systems, including the ability to draw simple diagrams, read blueprints, and other diagrams. Clean, safe driving record. Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. Strong verbal and written communication. High integrity with advanced social skills and the ability to make solid connections.
