NURSE Substitute School Year

Position Type: Substitute Date Posted: 9/5/2025 Location: Substitute Date Available: 09/05/2025 Substitute Nurse 2025-2026 Daily Rate Nurse $180.00 Sub nurses will: assist the Campus RN when needed act as Campus Nurse when Nurse is absent Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program Valid license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners Certified by Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening CPR Certification Special Knowledge/Skills: Physical, mental, social & emotional nursing assessment skills Nursing skills and knowledge specific to pediatric nursing Ability to develop student specific case management plans for chronic and acute medical conditions. Work autonomously in school clinical setting Other Substitutes are eligible to elect benefits once worked average of 10 hours a week over first 90 days serving in a Substitute capacity.
