Description The Staff and Systems Manager is responsible for oversight of the Self-Directed staff training, orientation and overall compliance. This position is also responsible for the further development of eVero and overall operations of eVero including the staff application and family portal. Position Responsibilities 1. Completes systems orientation for staff and families new to Self-Directed Services in N.E.O. 2. Participates in, writes, and implements program specific training materials, resources and workflow guidance specific to staff and families. 3. Ensures the staff implementation of EVV is within compliance of the mandate. 4. Ensures staff understand and promote the Person-Centered Approach. 5. Responsible for staff technology updates and communications regarding all annual and as needed training requirements. 6. Responsible for the maintenance and efficient use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) including staff training and competency for use of the EHR. 7. Responsible for all user error solutions including username changes, password changes, inability to punch in etc. 8. Assists with employee data input errors for mileage, reimbursement, and all staff activity fees. 9. Completes data entry into HER and assists with maintaining the database to ensure personnel files are current. 10. Develops, coordinates, and assists with programmatic outreach activities; locates community-based events to promote Self Directed Services. 11. Maintains monthly contact with family regarding staff support and EHR system support; notifies appropriate parties of concerns as they arise. 12. Collaborates with QA to ensure EHR is meeting regulatory and compliance best practices. 13. Maintains SDS newsletter that is sent out quarterly to share with families. 14. Responsible for mass communicating all program updates, policy changes, update MOUs, training reminders and EHR updates. 15. Completes Monthly Analysis for the programs via reports in EHR and ensures proper follow up of any staff concerns. 16. Ensures compliance with all OPWDD certification quality assurance and fiscal requirements. 17. Responsible for maintaining support for full staffing caseload. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Provides supervision of assigned Direct Support Professionals WORKING CONDITIONS 1. Hours will usually be normal business hours; may need to work other hours to meet the needs of the program. 2. Local travel required approximately 20% of the time. 3. Provide services to individuals in their homes as well as in community settings. RequirementsEducation and Experience a. High School Diploma/GED b. 3 years of Full-Time experience in OPWDD setting; or 6 months of Full-Time experience in OPWDD setting 1 year of other supervisory experience. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities a. Knowledge of developmental disabilities and stages of skill development. b. Ability to facilitate group instruction, prepare curriculums and assess skill levels. c. Professional oral and written communication skills including the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group settings. d. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. e. Experience using Electronic Health Record or Electronic Medical Record keeping systems. f. The ability to calculate figures as well as amounts and percentages. g. The ability to read and write case notes as well as present and understand written directions.
