Position Type: Secretarial/Clerical/Secretary Date Posted: 2/19/2026 Location: Wayne Center Elementary School Date Available: Summer 2026 Closing Date: 03/09/2026 District: East Noble School Corporation East Noble School Corporation is accepting applications for the following vacancy: Building Secretary Building: Wayne Center Elementary The elementary Building Secretary works 206 days per year, 8 hours per day. 206 days consist of 185 regular school days in addition to 21 additional days worked between late July to prepare for the school year through early June to close out the completed school year. Starting pay for this position is $17.84 per hour This is a full-time position with benefits; medical, dental, vision, Indiana Public Retirement Fund This position will officially begin in late July 2026 with the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Apply no later than March 9, 2026 The Wayne Center Building Secretary is under the direct supervision of the Principal, this secretarial position is responsible for the clerical duties of the principal, extra-curricular treasurer duties and performs other duties as assigned by the Wayne Center administrative staff. Qualifications: High School Diploma and at least two years of post-high school education or training, including; data entry & retrieval, and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products and additional technologies. Strong communication skills (written/verbal). Strong clerical and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage and protect confidential student information. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, community members, administrators, staff, and vendors.
