Respiratory Therapist New Grads Welcome Shift: Day (7AM to 7PM) Compensation: $27/HR to $40/HR Depending on years of experience Are you a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist ready to make a difference in patient care? We are looking for two dedicated therapists to join our team. In this role, you will assess, implement, and evaluate a wide range of respiratory care services, playing a critical role in monitoring and improving patient status. What You'll Do As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide essential care to patients in both critical and non-critical settings. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering Direct Patient Care: You'll administer a variety of respiratory therapies, including medication via nebulizer, oxygen and aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation. You'll perform patient assessments, document clinical information, and monitor patient response to treatment. Responding to Emergencies: You will be a key member of the medical response team, responding to Code Blues and critical care calls in a timely manner. Collaborating with the Healthcare Team: You will communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure continuity of care and the best possible patient outcomes. You'll also mentor new team members and assist in monitoring the quality of care provided. Utilizing Your Expertise: You'll use your independent judgment to make minor decisions in a complex technical field and will be responsible for accurate data entry and documentation. What You'll Bring Education: You must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program. Experience: This is an excellent opportunity for a new professional with 0-6 months of related experience. Licensure & Certifications: You must have a valid Oklahoma Provisional / Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) or a temporary letter to practice. You must also have your Certified / Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) credential through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Your Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within two months of hire. Skills: You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are detail-oriented, and can organize and prioritize your work. You have basic computer skills and can easily adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
