Quality Inspector Code: 702148 Location: PA - Fairview Contact: Quality Control Inspector Location: Fairview, PA Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm Pay: $14.50/hr to start, up to $17/hr upon hire! Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team. This role ensures that all products meet company and customer quality standards through visual inspections, documentation, and communication with production staff. This position is temp-to-hire with an opportunity for full-time employment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receive purchase orders from the Quality Manager and prepare job packets Retrieve standard boxes from QC or Standards Room for use on the production line Match artwork in the job packet to the customer standard Deliver retain and standard boxes to the line for technician setup Visually inspect products for defects-including missing print, scratches, black spots, heat marks, or broken pieces using standard comparison, color matching, graphic placement, and barcode scanning Approve acceptable parts and communicate adjustments to technicians when needed Explain job requirements and expectations to production workers Provide guidance on retains-including when they should be taken, labeling, and storage Monitor production at intervals throughout the day to ensure conformity, including placement, color, adhesion, and barcode accuracy Verify labels for correct information Maintain accurate records of all inspections and production requirements Identify nonconforming parts or labels and: Notify the Quality Manager and technician, Conduct AQL inspections to determine acceptable nonconformance rates, Complete required internal and external paperwork, Segregate defective product until a determination is made Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors Education, Experience, and Skills: Basic math compncy, Strong communication, reading, and comprehension skills to understand work instructions and safety requirements, Good organizational and time management abilities, Sharp eyesight and accurate color perception (cannot be color blind). Familiarity with ISO standards and recording data preferred, Ability to record quality issues, customer requirements, a audits findings.
