Submit Your Application Position Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced a Mobile Heavy Equipment & Fuel/Lube Mechanic to join our team on the day shift. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining semi trucks and trailers to ensure their safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems, along with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Position Requirements Requirements: Must be able to inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the supervisor. Must be knowledgeable on small engines heavy machinery for a civil contractor including CAT, Volvo and Komatsu. Must have experience and understand using computer diagnostic Must have a broad, yet thorough understanding of a variety of vehicle systems; engines, hydraulics, electronics, emissions, and power train on a variety of brands of Heavy equipment semi-trucks & trailers. Must possess a strong work ethic, lead by example, be self-motivated and promote and portray company values. Conduct business with integrity and strive for excellence in all aspects of the job. Motivated to succeed and improve skills. Perform job responsibilities safely in a busy, sometimes, stressful environment while operating and working under varied weather conditions. Responsible for observing and complying with all safety rules. Understand the value of teamwork and communication with others necessary to operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Operate power equipment in all phases of operations, during normal conditions, night conditions, adverse weather, and emergency situations, including hand and feet controls. Perform routine maintenance, and watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly. Complete and understand the paperwork necessary for the specific position. Maintain a clean work area, as well as care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment. Accurately complete a daily digital timecard. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Class B Hazmat REQUIRED Class A CDL preferred High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in diesel mechanics is preferred. Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, computerized systems, and software for vehicle diagnostics. Welding and fabrication skills. Excellent understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to the maintenance and repair of semi trucks and trailers. Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
