Olsten Staffing is Hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist!Location: Florence, SCType: Full-TimePay: Starting at $20/hr (negotiable based on experience)Olsten Staffing is currently hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist on behalf of a well-established company in the Florence area. We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to grow their career.Position SummaryThe Accounts Payable Specialist will manage the full accounts payable cycle, support the Controller, and assist with general accounting operations. Strong Excel skills and an understanding of accounting principles are essential.Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain accurate records Reconcile AP transactions and support month-end close Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries Assist with audits and documentation Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current Process electronic transfers and payments Support the Controller with reporting and ad hoc tasks Assist with AP/AR daily operations Reconcile, process, file, and pay Sales Tax Prepare and maintain financial records and spreadsheets Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) 2+ years of AP or general accounting experience Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Skills Experience with ERP systems Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls Experience with 1099 and sales/use tax Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental & vision insurance PTO & holidays 401(k) Opportunities for growth and development Apply Today!Interested candidates can apply through Olsten Staffing or contact our office for more details.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Olsten Staffing has been matching great candidates with great opportunities for over 60 years!
