Commercial Electrician

Overview:FLM has been doing business in FL since 2016. We focus on commercial service and retrofitting of electrical systems and lighting. National clients served with a local touch. Our company is seeking a skilled commercial electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial electrical and lighting systems. They should have excellent technical skills, experience in commercial electrical systems, applicable equipment experience and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.​Responsibilities:Install and repair commercial lighting systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control systemsTroubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairsOperate company vehicles and equipmentRead and interpret electrical blueprints and schematicsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and guidelinesMaintain accurate records of all work completed and materials usedCommunicate effectively with team members​​Requirements:​Clean Florida Driver's licenseClean criminal backgroundHigh school diploma or equivalentCompletion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in commercial electrical systemsValid electrician's license or certification Florida Journeyman's license preferredStrong technical skills and understanding of electrical systems and componentsAbility to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematicsKnowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulationsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamFlexibility to work on-call or outside of regular business hours​Preferred Qualifications:​Experience with LED lighting systemsExperience working with commercial buildings and systemsExperience operating applicable equipment: Bucket truck, Crane truck, skid steer, scissor liftFamiliarity with building automation systemsOSHA 10 or 30 certificationWork Hours:M-F 6am-Completion of WorkBenefits:​Insurance after 90 daysIf you are a skilled commercial lighting electrician with a passion for providing exceptional service and are committed to safety and quality workmanship, we encourage you to apply.
