Friendly visits, providing a listening ear, and the gift of friendship at a crucial time can make a real difference in another's life. Yours, too! VITAS volunteer activities include weekly visits to homes or nursing homes, relief care (sitting with a patient while the caregiver takes a break), and even specialized volunteer roles such as 11th Hour, recording a LifeBio, and more.
