HHM Talent is assisting a client search for an Automotive Controller in Hickory Lenoir, NC. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations for one rooftop (with plans to acquire more rooftops in the near future) Perform and review accurate bank reconciliations within DealerTrack DMS Lead full-cycle accounting functions conducted onsite Close month-end books within 3-5 business days Manage and mentor one direct report Oversee service and parts accounting Ensure compliance, internal controls, and accurate financial reporting Support future multi-store growth initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting Strong hands-on experience with Dealertrack DMS Must have prior automotive dealership accounting experience Proven ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and close month-end efficiently Strong organizational skills, management and leadership capability Compensation & Benefits $150,000-$175,000 base salary Relocation assistance available BCBS Platinum health plan (company pays 75%) $100,000 company-paid life insurance 401(k) plan coming later this year Possible demo vehicle (open to discussion) Company CultureThe dealership group has been in business for almost a decade, and is known for long-tenured leadership and stability.
