This position requires service in the field to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install commercial refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment.ResponsibilitiesProperly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial, refrigeration and/or HVAC equipmentProvide the highest level of service to the customer and professionally communicate the service needed to customers and management.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standardsPerform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.Legibly document and maintain accurate records for services performed on behalf of the customer.Consult with management to get needed parts ordered.Communicate with manufacturers as needed to help with diagnosing problems with equipment.Install parts ordered for the customer in a timely and professional manner.Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company standards.QualificationsHigh School graduate/GED or the equivalentThree years of experience as a refrigeration/HVAC equipment technicianMust be EPA certified.CEFESA certification is a plus.Additional experience in gas, electric, and/or steam repairs is a plus.Must have a valid driver’s license.Own industry’s standard hand tools.Excellent organization skills.Must be motivated, a self-starter and able to follow through on duties and assignments with minimal supervision.Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.Must be able to work on rotational on call as needed.
