This role blends arboricultural expertise with consultative sales. You’ll meet with residential and commercial clients within the Pittsburgh area, assess tree health and safety, recommend appropriate services, and close work that supports both customer goals and long-term tree care.The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and driven—someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, and turning expertise into results.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients on-site to assess trees, landscapes, and property conditionsIdentify hazards, health issues, and maintenance needsRecommend appropriate services such as pruning, removals, plant health care, and risk mitigationPrepare and present clear, accurate proposals and estimatesClose sales & meet revenue goalsMaintain client relationships through follow-ups and professional communicationCoordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth job executionTrack leads, estimates, and sales activity in CRMRepresent the company professionally and ethically at all timesQualificationsRequired: ISA Certified ArboristRequired: Valid driver’s licenseRequired: 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experienceGreat people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organizedMust be knowledgeable and experienced with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, and industry approved tree care practicesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to walk properties and work outdoors in varying conditionsComfortable using tablets, CRM systems, and estimating softwareCompensation & Benefits Compensation Structure:Base Salary: $65,000 base salary (depending on experience) + bonus structureSales Bonus / Commission:Commission earned on invoiced work/jobsAdditional Benefits May Include:Company vehicle after 90 days of employmentPhone and tablet providedHealth insurance and benefits packagePaid time off of 10 days and federal holidaysContinuing education and certification supportWhy Join UsEstablished, reputable tree care companyBe on a team with state of the art equipment lead by a ISA Board Certified Master ArboristSupportive operations and production teamsStrong lead flow and marketing supportOpportunity to grow with a values-driven organization
