Job Title: Production SupervisorJob DescriptionThe Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising all department employees and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards. This role requires independent judgment and discretion in executing duties and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.Responsibilities Supervise all personnel and operations in the department. Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment. Coordinate production with schedulers and other supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Ensure adherence to established policies, rules, regulations, and procedures for a safe and efficient work environment. Oversee all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping, while meeting production quality and quantity standards during the shift. Train, evaluate, and review all department employees, ensuring adherence to current ISO procedures. Three (3) years of supervision experience. Ability to lead and work as part of a team. Good written and oral communication skills. Problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more. Flexibility is important as management may require additional hours. The facility is a typical tire manufacturing environment with machines from the 40s, some new automated equipment, and is not temperature controlled. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, safety glasses, and hearing protection on the production floor.
