CDL Truck Driver

Position Summary: As one of the nation's premier wall and ceiling specialty contractors, Precision Walls, Inc. (PWI) offers you an opportunity to join our team. Make a difference and promote the progress of construction! We are seeking an experienced CDL Truck Driver. The CDL-A Truck Driver is primarily responsible for operating our larger trucks that require a CDL-A licenses. Some warehouse responsibilities will be required from time to time as well. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safe operation of vehicles assigned to drive. Load and unload materials from vehicles. Keep up and document material and equipment deliveries to jobsites. Become proficient on operating a knuckle boom. Assist with labor on field clean outs and deliveries. Pull orders from warehouse for deliveries. Stock materials appropriately in warehouse. Do credits on returns. Occasional driving of small trucks (under 12K GVW) to make deliveries, perform clean outs, pick up material, and other miscellaneous errands. Have and maintain a Class A for operation of vehicles up to 80K GVW. Meet all DOT regulations. Other duties as assigned. Requirements / Experience Education/Experience: No level required. Specific Skills: Driving of large vehicles. Licenses, Certificates, or Registrations (required or preferred): CDL-A Physical Demands The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and on occasion lift and/or move up to 100lbs. Stand for long periods of time at work site, warehouse on dirt, rock, asphalt, concrete, and carpet. Walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull and reach overhead on a routine and repetitive basis. Occasional work up in a building at various heights. Use hands to operate hand tools and machinery. Work in all weather conditions including prolonged periods of rain or heat. Sit in vehicle to drive between work locations. Drive vehicle and forklift.
