Department Admin - SMH Care Alliance Job Summary The 340B Manager for Contract Pharmacy Operations oversees the strategic, operational, and compliance functions of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's contract pharmacy network. This role ensures that all contract pharmacy partners operate in full alignment with HRSA regulations, state requirements, and internal SMHCS policies. The Manager leads a team of analysts and coordinators, directs network growth strategies, oversees financial reconciliation, and serves as the primary liaison between SMH and its contract pharmacy partners, TPAs, wholesalers, and internal stakeholders. This position requires deep knowledge of 340B regulations, strong operational understanding of specialty and retail pharmacy workflows, and proven experience managing contract pharmacy performance. The Manager ensures optimized savings, compliant operations, high-quality data integrity, and a positive experience for both pharmacy partners and patients. Must be FL resident to work for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System. Required Qualifications - Require Associate degree in business, healthcare administration, pharmacy, or related field. - Require minimum of five (5) years of experience with 340B programs, contract pharmacy operations, split-billing and/or specialty pharmacy, including experience reviewing audits, financial reconciliation or pharmacy data. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer strong understanding of HRSA's contract pharmacy regulations, duplicate discount prevention, and diversion standards. - Prefer strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, including experience leading staff, managing performance, and directing projects with multiple stakeholders. - Prefer proficiency in Excel, data validation, reporting, and workflow design. - Prefer experience with Epic, pharmacy dispensing systems, and specialty pharmacy workflows. - Prefer experience managing multi-site contract pharmacy networks. - Prefer familiarity with Alternate Distribution Models, central distribution services, national specialty pharmacies, or limited-distribution drug workflows. - Prefer Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license or CPhT certification.
