Pay: $23-$26 per hour Hours: 7:300AM-4:00PM Monday-Friday Job Summary The Contract Manufacturing Buyer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing contractual activities in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities Develop/prepare costed bills of materials for client and prospective clients Conduct and/or supervise the timely and accurate data entry into the systems of bills of materials, sales orders and work orders Provide day to day contact with clients Provide on call engineering expertise Collaborate with management to determine engineering feasibility, cost, effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products Prepare bids, process specifications, inspection & test documents to clients Examine performance requirements, delivery schedules and estimates of costs of material, equipment, and production to ensure completeness and accuracy Assist in the development of new business Required Skills for Contract Manufacturing Buyer Associates degree in business or technical discipline Previous experience working for an Electronic Contract Manufacturer Experience with PCBAs, SMT and box builds Experience working in a cable and wire harness facility a huge plus Previous purchasing experience in a electronic component or similar industry ideal 2-5 years of experience in sales or marketing dealing directly with clients and vendors The ability to read and understand component drawings, schematics procedures and specifications, with an understanding of dimensions and tolerances Must have excellent written and verbal communication Knowledge of Microsoft office Suite Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015; ISO 13485:2012; AS 9100:2016; IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A620 Light travel and overtime may be required Malone workforce solutions is an equal opportunity employer. 2000037 To Apply for this Job Click Here No tags.
