1st Shift Foundry Grinder

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a leading manufacturer of firefighting and emergency response equipment, known for quality, innovation, and reliability is seeking candidates to join their team as grinders in the foundry. Foundry Grinders support the production of high-quality cast metal components. The Foundry Grinder plays a key role in ensuring all castings meet the strict performance and safety standards. Hours: 6:55am - 3:25pm Pay: $22.51/hr Key Responsibilities Grind, clean, and finish metal castings using handheld grinders and related tools Inspect castings for defects; remove excess material, burrs, gates, and risers Follow quality specifications and safety standards for all finished parts Operate equipment in accordance with training and safety guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate issues with supervisors or team members as needed Support other foundry or production tasks as assigned Qualifications Previous foundry, metal fabrication, or industrial grinding experience preferred but not required Ability to lift, push, and move materials up to 100lbs Comfortable working in a foundry environment with heat, noise, and dust Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks Reliable, team-oriented work ethic Why Peoplelink?
