We are seeking a Clinical Product Owner to serve as a bridge between clinical and business teams. With a clinical background, you will translate needs into high-quality product requirements, driving improvements for both provider experiences and patient outcomes. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. Rate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr. w2 Key Responsibilities: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for EMR products. Engage with clinical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into detailed documentation. Draft requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for EMR features. Prioritize features based on clinical impact, user feedback, and industry trends. Facilitate backlog grooming and lead sprint planning with cross-functional teams. Act as the main point of contact for clinical stakeholders, aligning products with clinical workflows. Collaborate with UI teams to enhance user experience through screen designs. Conduct user research and acceptance testing to ensure product functionality and usability. Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvements based on user satisfaction. Assist with training and rollout initiatives alongside training and support teams. Experience Requirements: Clinical background with practical knowledge of EMR environments. Proven track record in gathering stakeholder requirements and creating actionable documentation. Experience in building or enhancing EMR systems while collaborating with diverse teams. Proficient in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership presentations. Experience working with UI/UX teams to design or refine application interfaces. Understanding of healthcare regulations, standards, and EMR best practices. Skilled in facilitating user acceptance testing and integrating feedback into product iterations.
