General Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented. Payroll Intern to join our team. This internship opportunity will provide hands-on experience in payroll processing and administration, offering valuable insights into the financial operations of our organization. If you are passionate about numbers, detail-oriented, and looking to kickstart your career in payroll, we encourage you to apply. Key Duties:Assist in processing payroll for employees accurately and timely. Validate timekeeping records to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Support in preparing and distributing payroll reports to management. Help with data entry and maintenance of employee payroll information. Collaborate with the HR, Accounting, and Finance teams. Respond to payroll inquiries and provide assistance to employees regarding payroll matters. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy. Learn and utilize payroll software and systems effectively. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience:Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of payroll administration. Physical Demands. The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by a Payroll Intern, to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Frequent ability to sit for prolonged periods of time; Frequent ability to talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; Frequent ability to operate standard office equipment, using hand and arm dexterity; Frequent ability to navigate through office environment, including periodic use of stairs and/or elevator, as needed; Infrequent ability to lift general office documents and materials, up to 10 pounds; Frequent vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment. The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that a Payroll Intern encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work generally is performed in an office environment, although periodic visits to construction sites and manufacturing facilities may be required.
