What you'll do Assist experienced electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial environments. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution. Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure systems are functioning correctly. Participate in the installation of low voltage and high voltage wiring while following the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines. Collaborate with team members on various construction tasks, including frame carpentry, to enhance your overall skill set. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Basic qualifications Previous experience related to commercial electrical work. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment. Preferred qualifications Experience in commercial electrician roles. Understanding of NEC standards and regulations. Construction site experience that showcases your ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
