The Judge Group is seeking a travel ED - Emergency Department Charge Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel MUST HAVE LEVEL 1 ED CHARGE NURSE EXPERIENCE Requested Skill Set: 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. Previous HCA experience preferred. Must have: 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED. Unit Specifics: ·         Number of Beds : 101 ·         Patient Ratios : 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds ·         Unit staffing description-  Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights ·         Type of equipment : baxter pumps, GE monitors ·         Documentation system: Cerner ·         Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can’t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept. ·         Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED. ·         Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit Hospital Specifics- ·         Certifications:  ACLS before  BLS before starting  PALS before starting  TNCC before starting  CPI before starting  NIHSS before starting  WHY JUDGE HEALTHCARE?
