Required Skills Minimum of 5+ years of total CST experience At least 2+ years in cardiac and vascular surgeries 1+ year CVOR experience Proven scrub experience in a Level I Trauma facility Familiarity with cardiovascular and thoracic instrument reprocessing Strong aseptic technique and sterile field management Experience with a variety of procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc. Competence in operating and troubleshooting surgical equipment Ability to work independently, with excellent attention to detail and documentation skills Certification in BLS is mandatory Nice to Have Skills Experience with EPIC or other charting systems Additional certifications related to cardiovascular or thoracic surgery Ability to adapt to shift changes and work well under pressure Experience with crash cart management and intraoperative equipment troubleshooting Preferred Education and Experience Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology or related healthcare field preferred Over 5 years of hands-on surgical tech experience, with a focus on cardiovascular and vascular procedures Existing experience in a trauma or Level I facility environment Other Requirements Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00), including weekends and call Must be flexible and available for weekend and evening hours Travel and licensure reimbursements applicable when required Compliance with all healthcare facility regulations and standards This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with competitive pay of $62.47/hour, weekly direct deposit payments, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick time, and an engaging referral bonus program.
