The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) Executive Offices is looking for an Executive Secretary to provide essential administrative and clerical support to Commissioners, the Office of Sports Wagering Operations, and the Office of Human Resources. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will assist and provide task backup to the Executive Assistant in order to provide consistency in support of PGCB executives, Board members, and others as needed. You will be responsible for reviewing and editing correspondence prepared by staff; scheduling meetings and appointments; as well as providing support to staff with travel arrangements, itineraries, and preparing talking points for speaking engagements. You will also have the opportunity to serve as the backup receptionist, screening calls, addressing inquiries, referring callers to the appropriate staff members, and handling incoming/outgoing mail. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $45,907.00 (before taxes). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements: A high school diploma or its equivalency and five years of relevant work experience; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must have experience performing the duties of a personal secretary for an agency head, bureau director, or high-ranking administrative official. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
