Responsibilities Work in a Level II NICU specializing in care for neonates 32 weeks or greater Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30 Every other weekend and holiday coverage required Float to Postpartum and Labor and Delivery for neonatal care as needed Specialized procedures may include lumbar puncture and endotracheal resuscitation Consistent monitoring and stabilization of cardiopulmonary, neurologic, metabolic, and thermal functions Care for newborns requiring specialized monitoring and treatment according to established protocols and physician orders Assist with specialized neonatal procedures as needed May initiate, modify, or discontinue treatment in accordance with physician protocols Must work effectively both independently and as part of the neonatal care team Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted Requirements Active MD or compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years NICU experience in a Level II unit NICU II and CPAP experience required Certifications required: BLS, NRP, and STABLE Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms Documented record of multiple successfully completed travel assignments with no cancellations First-time travelers with required NICU experience accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-674159.
