Electrical Engineer-in-training

Since 1930, TSP has been discovering facility design solutions that truly match the vision and mission of our clients.As an Engineer-in-Training on our team, you will work with a licensed Electrical Engineer to design and model electrical systems for construction documents for a wide variety of challenging projects. You should have a basic knowledge of electrical theory, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as a member of a team.Specific Duties: Assist in developing full construction documents (drawing and specifications) for complex electrical systems and renovation projects under the supervision of a licensed Electrical EngineerConduct power system and photometric calculationsWrite clear and concise site observation reportsEffectively communicate within TSP's multidisciplinary system of architects & engineers along with building owners, property managers, and contractorsLearn about applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations Champion TSP Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited UniversitySuccessful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineer (FE) exam, and designation as an Engineer in Training is preferredNo experience is required, but knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, and/or AGI32 is a plus
