POSITION TITLE: Director of Human Resources REPORTS TO: SuperintendentTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months, Full-Time The Director of Human Resources/ Title IX Coordinator functions under the direction of the Superintendent to ensure compliance with all District, state and federal employment laws, policies, regulations and statutes related to Human Resources and Title IX. The Director of Human Resources oversees the recruitment, selection, and orientation of employees and is the primary resource for the resolution of all personnel matters, including labor relations, disciplinary action and wage/salary and benefit policy administrator for all District employees. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree require, Master's Degree, preferred Current PHR/SPHR Certification, preferred At least 10 years of relevant HR executive leadership experience, required Some Essential Job Duties/Responsiblities Include: Directs and supervises recruiting efforts at all levels, including posting, advertising, and attending career fairs; develops and improves efforts to attract qualified pools of candidates for all District opportunities. Screens, interviews, completes reference checks, and communicates with all applicants during the hiring process, or supervises the accomplishment of these efforts. Oversee accurate communications and information-sharing regarding District policy and practice including, for example, leaves of absences, disciplinary policies, performance appraisal, compensation and contractual issues, retirements, etc. with all current employees. Responsible for interpretation and implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Administers each of the employee group's wage/salary and nonmedical benefit policies. Meets with the Board's Negotiations Committee and representatives of each group at the close of each agreement to discuss changes to each policy and recommends changes to the Board for approval. Administers the Collective Bargaining Agreement, acting as the primary contact for the Upper Perkiomen Education Association. Leads all grievance processing and resolution efforts. Acts as primary contact for all employment complaints from outside agencies, such as EEO, U.S. Dept of Education, PHRC, and others. Prepares EEO reports as required. Acts as the District representative for Human Resources for Montgomery County IU and SEPaST Supervises the orientation of all new employees Oversees all Worker's Compensation reporting, processing, and resolution efforts for the District at all levels. Serves as the official Title IX Coordinator for the district, oversees the investigation and resolution of claims of discrimination falling under Title IX and Policy 103 PREEMPLOYMENT PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS: PA State Police Clearance (Act 34) Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151) FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114) School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test) PDE 6004 Form (Act 24) Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) EEO- M/F/V/D More information can be found here:
