Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a Contract Payroll Administrator on behalf of our client, a family-owned automotive dealership network. This role is responsible for end-to-end payroll administration for an entire dealership location, supporting payroll processing, benefits coordination, employee records, and compliance. The Payroll Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll while supporting HR-related functions in a fast-paced, on-site environment. Key Responsibilities: Process weekly payroll and monthly bonus payroll accurately and on time. Manage full-cycle payroll administration for the entire dealership location, including benefits, schedules, and employee records. Accrue payroll-related expenses and support general ledger (GL) reporting. Maintain payroll data integrity and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws. Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries. Support onboarding and HR-related processes connected to payroll administration. Collaborate with HR and management to ensure smooth payroll and employee lifecycle operations. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll and employee data. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Include:Education: No degree required. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of payroll administration experience. Automotive industry experience required. Experience running full-cycle payroll; not limited to data entry responsibilities. Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines. Solid understanding of HR processes related to onboarding and employee records. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, self-directed, and solution-oriented. Certifications: Payroll or HR-related certifications are a plus but not required. Knowledge: Payroll compliance and wage and hour laws. Multi-location payroll processing is a plus. Paycom experience strongly preferred; candidates without Paycom will be considered if they have strong payroll fundamentals. General ledger (GL) and payroll accrual experience.
