Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Quanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift to join our team located in Cambridge, OH. The Maintenance Technician will ensure robust operation of equipment through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement. 3rd Shift: 10pm to 6am (Monday thru Friday) Hourly Rate: $30-$38/hr. commensurate with experience + shift differential with bonus potentialWe Offer You! Supportive and collaborative culture Tenured team of leaders and peers to provide support and training Growth Potential What Success Looks Like: Performing general maintenance of all equipment. Assisting in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements. Performing thorough work and follow-through on the repairs through feedback from internal customers. Communicate with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and perform sustainable solutions. Must be able to diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V. Must know how to properly use a digital voltmeter (DVM). Continually coordinate equipment updates, and operational issues with off shift maintenance personnel and other team members as needed. Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, safety controllers, etc. to improve overall plant automation efforts. Attend outside training and seminars for continual education. Your Credentials: 2-3 years of maintenance experience. Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other electrical components preferred.
